Alain Zidouemba of Sourcefire will be giving a presentation entitled “What to Do With the Unknown?” that will cover Clam AntiVirus—an open source anti-virus toolkit for UNIX systems.

Richard Goldberg, Esq. will be giving a presentation that all of us—especially those of us who do consulting or work on a project-by-project basis—should hear, entitled “How Not to Get Pwnd by Your Clients.” According to the description, “[t]his talk will tell you how to keep yourself out of trouble. Topics will include dealing with “standard” contracts and “standard” provisions; what it means to “indemnify” someone else; how to protect your intellectual property and confidential information; and other dangers, including warranties and audit-rights provisions. It will also cover some negotiation strategies.”

Eoghan Casey of cmdLabs will give a presentation called “Getting Physical With Mobile Devices.” Dealing with mobile device forensics, Casey’s talk will cover “various techniques and tools for dumping and analyzing physical memory from mobile devices, including Flasher boxes. In addition, … [it] will provide examples of items recovered from physical memory that are not accessible using most forensic tools.”
