“Managing Risk in a Dynamic Environment”
The Department of Justice (DOJ) is recognized as a leader in Cybersecurity among civilian agencies. Cyber attacks not only impact DOJ information systems, but also the DOJ mission, its public image, and public trust. Each of us has an important role to fight the persistent threat to DOJ’s information and to ensure the secure operations of our systems and networks.
With this in mind, DOJ is presenting the Fourth Annual Cybersecurity Conference to bring together those who specialize in Cybersecurity from all DOJ components. The Cybersecurity Conference is a two-day interactive and educational forum. The theme of the 2012 conference is “Managing Risk in a Dynamic Environment.” It will provide component Chief Information Officers (CIOs), IT security professionals, developers and staff responsible for network operations throughout the Department an opportunity to learn firsthand about the emerging cyber threats and ways to defend against them. In addition, participants will learn about new technologies and the role they play in supporting the DOJ mission.
Conference highlights include:
- DOJ Security Initiatives
- Safeguarding Information
- Managing Risk in a Mobile Environment
- Increasing Effectiveness of Network Security through Continuous Monitoring
