The goal of the meetings is to discuss technology, hacking, computers, and anything of general interest. The meetings are open to anyone who has a general interest in technology, though the discussion can be technical / dive into geekery at times.

People usually show up between 7:00 and 8:00 PM. When you arrive, ask for 2600; if no one else has arrived, let the host(ess) know you’re with 2600. Also please announce by Twitter where you are located by using the hashtag #dc2600.

As far as I know this happened last time. I actually tried to attend but guess I was too late. The hostess said they had already left. Apparently, the coordinator showed up on time and waited around for an hour then bailed after no one showed. That’s about when I showed up. Guess the lessons learned for me is to show up on time. :)

I plan to come. I have some Drupal security experience that I can talk about a little bit if people are interested.

Remember that Baltimore Node, HacDC, Reverse Space, and Unallocated Space are four local hacker spaces that also hold several standard activities each week ... so check them out for more fun stuff to do.
