NovaInfosecPortal.com centralizes security news, events, and resources for infosec professionals in Northern Virginia (NoVA) and beyond. There are a lot of excellent general security sites, but we wanted to create a space where professionals in our geographical area could share information and meet face-to-face periodically. Currently, the main portions of this portal consist of pages and blog postings. Pages offers an evolving collection of centralized information and resources relevant to NoVA. The Blog summarizes the latest information regarding updates to pages/blog postings, infosec news, and the announcement of any local events. Topics generally focus on stuff going on in NoVA but occasionally we’ll post things geared more towards a general audience. The whole goal is to produce a metasite of useful information for infosec professionals in NoVA.
