Where do you want to be this week? Now you’ll always know with our “Where You Want to Be This Week” feature, which will tell you about infosec meetups happening in your local area as of Sunday night. With the festive season very close, we have only one meet-up this week and it also looks like we won’t be posting another “Where You Want to Be This Week” post until next year.
So turn out at the ISSA DC meet-up to review the state of software security today, discuss some initiatives which require application risk management, and provide suggestions on how you can begin managing the application risk at your organization.
If you would like your event listed in our Calendar and in this post, contact us or mention it to @grecs on Twitter. Anyway, here are your meetups for this week.
Tuesday (12/21)
- ISSA DC Meetup -”The State of Software Security” by Jeff Ennis of Veracode, Inc at Government Printing Office (732 N. Capitol St. Washington, DC, 20401) from 6:30 to 8:00 PM (more info)
Remember that HacDC and Baltimore Node are two local hacker spaces that also hold several standard activities each week … so check them out for more fun stuff to do.
And be sure to subscribe to our RSS feed or follow us on Twitter at @novainfosec and @grecs to be alerted about any last-minute events or to receive updates on the meetups listed above. Finally, check out our Calendar for a complete list of infosec events in and around NoVA, DC, and MD.
