It’s that time of the week again: The time where we take a look at what local security bloggers have been up to. Last week, we went on a vacation without telling anyone and we are sorry about that. We promise to do a better job at communication from now on. Anyways if you can’t get enough of the local security scene, check out our NovaInfosec Twits list for even more great security blogs and people to follow on Twitter. Also be sure to follow myself (@nathiet), @grecs, and @novainfosec on Twitter if you want to know more about what’s going on in the local security community during the week.

And without further ado … here are the top picks for this week.

#3 -More security aquisitions: With many companies worried about security these days, big companies such as Intel and HP have acquired a security company; Laura Raderman of Gemini security solution looks at what will happen to the security industry. Are you interested in seeing what sort of questions does Laura Raderman raises? then click here as you might find answers to your own questions

#2 -Someone Is Not Paying Attention: Another great read from Richard Bejtlich as he examines an article from InformationWeek. So you want to know whose not paying attention? then click here to find out

#1 -Dear CloudTards: “Securing” The Cloud isn’t the problem: Wonder why cloud computing due to security concerns? Alex examines why cloud computing is not adopted due to security concerns ”The objections to cloud adoption from an information risk management standpoint have nothing to do with the ability to engineer “secure”.   It is about an ability to manage risk.” Click here to read more from this blog as it’s a great read.

Well, that’s all this week. Be sure to check back next week for more great blog posts from local security bloggers.
