It’s that time of the week again: The time where we take a look at what local security bloggers have been up to. This week we didn’t get overloaded with blogs as we are used to. Our top 3 cover different topics and we’d suggest Richard Bejtlich’s post as he made his point with another great analogy.

If you can’t get enough of the local security scene, check out our NovaInfosec Twits list for even more great security blogs and people to follow on Twitter. Also be sure to follow, myself (@nathiet), @grecs, and @novainfosec on Twitter if you want to know more about what’s going on in the local security community during the week.

And without further ado … here are the top picks for this week.

#3 -Oops….: Do you trust everyone of your twitter followers? As information security professionals do you “figure out where the TinyURL led to before deciding whether or not it was worth clicking on?” Click here to read.

#2 –Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt: If attacks can be carried out by anyone, anywhere; at anytime; is it easy to attribute them whether they be physical or digital? Click here to read as saying more would be saying more about the post up.

#1 –Making a Point with Pressure Points: Richard Bejtlich gives us another great analogy of APT activity in the security industry. Click here to read the analogy.

Well, that’s all this week. Be sure to check back next week for more great blog posts from local security bloggers.
