Where do you want to be this week? Now you’ll always know with our “Where You Want to Be This Week” feature, which will tell you about infosec meetups happening in your local area as of Sunday night. Speaking of where we’d rather be, last week we got a funny tweet from @wadew.

@grecs I always hope to see “Home in bed, watching TV” as where I want to be. Would help validate my doing nothing at all :)

Yes, I think most of us would agree. :) Anyway, here are your meetups for this week.

Monday (01/11)

  • NoVA Hackers Association Meetup – Barcodes (Glory Days Grill)

Tuesday (01/12)

  • Infosec Tweetup – Normal Meeting (Silver Diner)

Wednesday (01/13)

  • ISACA CM Meetup – Seventh Annual Day of Security Training (The Conference Center at the Maritime Institute)
  • Infragard MMA Meetup - Various Discussions (Capital College)

Remember that HacDC and Baltimore Node are two local hacker spaces that also hold several standard activities each week … so check them out for more fun stuff to do.

And be sure to subscribe to our RSS feed and follow us on Twitter @grecs to be alerted about any last-minute events, or to receive updates on the events listed above. Finally, check out our Calendar for more upcoming events.
