Where do you want to be this week? Now you’ll always know with our “Where You Want to Be This Week” feature, which will tell you about infosec meetups happening in your local area as of Sunday night.

We go from almost no meetups last week to four really good ones this week. Lots of stuff to do on Tuesday in DC. Then you can head up to Baltimore for Wednesday and finish off the week on Thursday with a pretty big speaker at ISSA NoVA. Anyway, here are your meetups for this week.

  • Tuesday (11/17):
    • ISACA NCA Meetup – 2nd Career & Academic Night – Fall Mixer (Hyatt Arlington)
    • ISSA DC Meetup – Securing Cloud Computing – Are You Ready? (American Bar Association Building)
  • Wednesday (11/18) : ISSA Baltimore Meetup – Avoid Epic Fail: Plan For Network Security Unknown (Cobham Analytic Solutions)
  • Thursday (11/19) : ISSA NoVA Meetup – Thoughts on the Future of the Internet and Security (Noblis)

Remember that HacDC and Baltimore Node are two local hacker spaces that also hold several standard activities each week … so check them out for more fun stuff to do.

And be sure to subscribe to our RSS feed and follow us on Twitter @grecs to be alerted about any last-minute events, or to receive updates on the events listed above. Finally, check out our Calendar for more upcoming events.
