Another week, another tweet. Or in this case, many tweets. Below is a condensed version of the best tweets to grace our Twitter feed this week.

To follow us on Twitter, look no further than @grecs.

It seems that cloud computing just got a facelift. Sorta.

If for any reason you feel that cloud computing isn’t safe enough, we’re sure that one of these tools could help.

If the tools don’t help, there’s always the option of talking to some of the bloggers in the local community. They really know their stuff. But hopefully, you’ll never have to experience cloud computing gone awry.

One of our favorite local bloggers just came up with what has come to be known as his “2nd Law.” Check it out.

  • @rybolov Gonna wanna C blog post on ths. RT Rybolov’s 2nd law: best way 2 write security plan is 2 not. Most of info shld b in other docs #
  • @rybolov True but people are too lazy to look elsewhhere. (re Rybolov’s 2nd Law) in reply to rybolov #

To have a chance to meet some of the local bloggers we spotlight in person, you might want to attend some of these upcoming events.

While it’s not technically an upcoming event, we thought that this upcoming award was pretty neat.

As are these SANSFIRE podcasts.

In addition to SANSFIRE, it turns out that there were a whole bunch of great events that happened this past week.

Though I can’t help but wonder if any of them tackled the issue of getting back to basics.

And now, just for the heck of it, here’s some fun stuff for you to waste, erm, occupy, your time with.

And with that, we’ll end this week’s post with a question.
