If you’re interested in being part of a hackerspace but haven’t had the chance to make it down to the HacDC facility in Washington, DC, there may be—for some of you, anyways—a more geographically favorable location opening up pretty soon.
The newly formed group Baltimore Node just had their first meeting on June 11th and it seems that it was a success. Their goal is to set up a hackerspace in the Baltimore area, and they need the help of a few committed individuals to make their goal into a reality.
I highly encourage you to check out their website as well as their wiki page to see if they’re a group that you’d like to be a part of.
If you happened to be one of the people who attended the meeting on June 11th, please feel free to leave a comment below about how it went.
