- Mark Salinas – Protecting your Web Applications and Databases: Databases contain the crown jewels of an organization, which means a possible break-in by insiders or outsiders. There are commonly used methods to attack databases. Defend against these, and your databases will be virtually impenetrable. Mark will cover the most prominent application and database security threats and how they are carried out. He will also show how to create a blueprint for implementing a comprehensive application and database protection plan. During this session Mark will provide a live Application and Database hacking demonstration of SQL Injection, Cross Site Scripting, Discount Cookie Poisoning and several other application level attacks on a web site that was created specifically for this purpose.
