Here is some information regarding this week’s Wednesday OWASP – DC/MD Local Chapter infosec meetup event. If you show up late, the lobby door may be locked. You’ll need to call Aspect Security’s office number (301-604-4882) for access. Pizza and drinks will be available; usually Aspect provides.

- SANS GSSP: Short presentation and discussion on SANS’ GIAC Secure Software Programmer certification for Java and C
- Verb Tampering: Presentation and discussion on Verb Tampering, a new technique to bypass Auth and Access Control for web apps. What happens when you submit a HEAD request when the site is expecting a POST?

I plan on making it up there. How often does this usually go?
Well I think they’re just sort of starting it up again with new leadership. Previously, they did things on the second Thursday of each month. This one is on Wednesday though. I don’t know what they have in store for the future.
